Just my opinion i dunno..let losers be losers. It's not like Guild Wars is a serious game anyways..

You have 2 types of botters; those that are unmanned programs running in a warehouse somewhere, and those that use sweatshop-like exploitative labor in a foreign country somewhere. Both are detrimental to the game, and the latter is morally reprehensible. Either way, they are attempting to make a profit off of the efforts of someone else, which they have absolutely no right to do. These aren't some kid who decides to grind as often as possible because he has no life, these are actual businesses. Buying gold from one of these sellers is really no different than buying a bootleg of a movie from some guy on the corner...

Yes, that's exactly what everyone who makes bots or uses bot are like. You are telling other people they are a loser in a video game while you are playing the same one.
And, not everyone is ashamed of cheating. Some people are perfectly fine with whatever.

If the bots didn't effect us, I doubt many of us would care. However they do effect us in two major areas:
1 - The spam the bots cause advertising their websites.
2 - Because they farm constantly, they bring more gold into the game than the average player would. This leads to inflation, which leads to people not being able to afford things, which leads even more people to buying gold. Currently ANET seems to have this under control.
And one minor issue: Bots in RA. It might be worse, except the bots seem better than the typical RA player (I don't RA).
